Vice Chairman Roger Fradin and Honeywell China President and CEO Stephen Shang recently participated in a U.S. trade and business development mission to China, which focused on promoting energy efficiency and clean energy technologies. The mission was one of several efforts underway designed to strengthen and expand U.S.-China clean energy cooperation.
The trade mission began in Beijing, and included stops in Shanghai and Guangzhou. Honeywell’s delegation presented to Chinese businesses and government officials on its leading technologies and solutions around energy efficiency and environmental protection, including Automated Demand Response (ADR), Solstice® low-global-warming-potential solutions, and indoor air quality products. Honeywell joined 24 other U.S. companies on the mission, which was led by U.S. Commerce Secretary Penny Pritzker and U.S. Energy Deputy Secretary Elizabeth Sherwood-Randall.
Chinese Premier Li Keqiang met with members of the delegation in Beijing, encouraging stronger cooperation with Chinese companies in areas such as clean energy and environmental protection in China.
